Cheaper hair and beauty treatments

Many women these days find it difficult to find a good cheap hair/beauty salon, with the costs of treatments and hair cuts ever increasing, this is an area that women often end up neglecting as it just gets too expensive. This is exactly what i had done,
until a friend of mind enrolled on a hair and beauty course at the local college.
She needed someone to be a model for her hair assessment and asked me if i could do it.
An afternoon of having my hair done, of course i said yes!!! She did a very good job,
and passed her assessment, and whilst i was there,
the tutor told me that all the hair/beauty treatments in the salon are much cheaper than the highstreet salons,
or free if your being a model for an assessment!
They need people to practise their skills on,
so you get the treatments done for a much reduced cost, often with the same results as if you had paid the full highstreet price anyways.
This is something i now treat myself to,
when ever i feel like it,and enjoy my day at the college salon being pampered
and coming home feeling and (i hope) looking fantastic!! This is something most colleges that teach hair and beauty courses do, so i would reccomend you enquire at your local college and go for some treatments, your helping the students out and getting some cheap beauty therapy!! |
